BIG ROCK QUARRY​

110 Km NE of Fort McMurray, AB

The Big Rock Quarry began operations in 2006 and is located approximately 112 kilometers northeast of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Strategically located within close proximity to the Suncor Firebag, Cenovus Sunrise, Esso Kearl, Esso Aspen and Shell Jack Pine sites, this quarry is in a prime position to fulfil the needs of local oil company contractors.

The recognized qualities of the granular materials from this quarry have been described by geologists and civil engineers as being an excellent source of concrete quality aggregates.
